A few years ago, a trend started in snowboarding where people wore unconventional XL tall tees hanging out from the bottom of their jackets to add personal flair to their outerwear. It was then that Priscilla Levac, founder and designer of Cilla, made it her goal to create a base layer that’s flattering to the women’s body with a waterproof band at the bottom that would stick out in the same way that the long t-shirts do.  Along with the help of her mother Suzanne Levac, the co-founder and CEO, the dynamic duo incorporated Cilla in 2007- bringing freshness and style to the traditionally unflattering base layers. Cilla was an instant success in the snowboarding industry.

Priscilla has achieved many highlights in her professional-snowboarding career: She won the US Open Slopestyle in 2005 and that same year was voted Snowboarder’s “Best Female Rider of the Year.” Notably she was the first woman to have a pro-model binding in 2004 (with DRAKE), a signature-outerwear line for four years with RIDE snowboards, and was the only female featured in Love/Hate by Kidsknow Productions, as well as Aesthetica by Standard Films.

Beyond snowboarding, women have started wearing Cilla for all kinds of sports and activities such as yoga, running, at the gym, hiking, mountain biking, or just chilling. “I don’t want to have to transform into someone else to go mountain biking or to go hiking; I just want to look like me in my regular clothes,” says Priscilla.

Priscilla is a very multidimensional woman. In addition to her Cilla line, she is also very passionate about raw food, and is writing her own book. Priscilla and her mother have even devised a new shipping method that eliminates the need for individual plastic bags. So, all in all, Cilla is a full package of fashion, function, eco-minded and athletic-inspired pieces.
